The Yellowhammer Rifles is a group of living historians dedicated to the authentic portrayal of the common soldier of the War Between the States, especially those in service to our great state, Alabama. Through this venue, we hope to better educate Americans of the sacrifices made by those gallant soldiers of old, who for their cause, rushed headlong into the pits of misery and glory.
